Yep, the kids have spoken and it’s time to clean up the green slime from the 2010 Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, which aired tonight, March 27.
Our favorite vamps and werewolves were nominated several times. In the category for Favorite Movie, New Moon was beat out by Team Chipmunk, as in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel.
Huh.
The Twilight Series was also up for Favorite Book, but lost to Diary of a Wimpy Kid (don’t feel bad Team Edward, The Vampire Diaries Series was also nominated and lost).
But there’s good news! The Favorite Movie Actor award went to Taylor Lautner, who looked dashing as always, flashing that trademark grin at the audience of screaming girls.
But perhaps most interesting is that in a battle for cutest couple, in which both Edward and Bella and Jacob and Bella were nominated, the kids chose Team Jacob!
Way to go Taylor! Looks like Nickelodeon loves you!
