The Hollywood Reporter has published that Ashley is in talks for "Scream 4":
Dimension is taking the first steps the cast of "Scream 4", which is headed for a July start date.
Lake Bell is in negotiations to join the franchise, and other offerings in the names of the stars Ashley Greene (Twilight), Hayden Panettiere ("Heroes") and Rory Culkin ("Twelve") for the main lead roles.
"Scream 4" brings Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson, who began a renaissance of horror with his film "Scream" in 1996. The story brings back the original cast members Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, but the new film is seen as a step in the baton to a new generation of victims, Williamson already under contract to write a fifth.
If the agreements reached their conclusion, Greene interpreted Campbell's cousin, Jill, essentially the heroine of the film, Panettiere would play her best friend. Culkin could play potential love interest Jill.
Bell is in negotiations to play a police officer who knew Sidney (Campbell) High School.
The casting is progressing slowly because Craven and Dimension have not sent the script to the agencies to protect confidentiality. With only descriptions of the characters, the actors are having a difficult time deciding whether these roles are for them. The representatives of the players declined comment.
