Oh meu. Oh my. Nós estamos na banda sonora do próximo Twilight. We are on the soundtrack of the next Twilight.

And the site of the band Bat for Lashes: Bat for Lashes Beck collaborated with an exclusive track for the new movie Twilight, Eclipse.

The song "Let's Get Lost" is loaded with sound electronic lo-fi (those songs that are distorted and has background sounds) feature of Beck, with both Bat as Beck singing the lyrics of Natasha, an atmosphere of synthesizers and dramatic beats.

METRIC composed "All Yours" for Twilight: Eclipse:

Our song "All Yours" written with the legendary film composer Howard Shore and performed by Metric, Eclipse will be featured in the movie, the next movie worldwide phenomenon known as the Twilight saga.

I always wanted to write music for movies, but I never expected to start with something of this scale, so you can imagine how much I was surprised when out of nowhere, I received a call from Howard Shore, who I never met or talked before. Most people know him as the man who wrote the acclaimed score of Lord of the Rings trilogy, but I grew up with the earlier work of Shore - his score for Naked Lunch David Cronenberg, in collaboration with jazz star Ornette Coleman is still one of the most ambitious and unusual there.

To my amazement, Howard was calling to ask me to work with him on his newest project: a track from the upcoming movie Twilight, Eclipse. He wanted Jimmy and I escrevêssemos the theme song for the crucial final scene of the film, incorporating music from your existing plan with a composition that expresses the emotional end of the movie. Really?!?! The letter should be on the voice of main character Bella and we had to stay between the shores of the harmonic and melodic themes that Howard had in mind for the last scene.

We had songs on our albums licensed for use in film and TV, but to compose a track was completely different. Every day as the song progressed - from sitting at a piano with Jimmy in NYC to record acoustic versions and read the script (see photo) to work in the studio of Howard, the northern state accompaniments and vocal in our own studio Giant , Toronto, and mix the tracks at Electric Lady with Howard at Abbey Road in London - every step of the way we did our best to fulfill the vision of Howard the last moments of the film.

Still, everyone knows that the film business is insanely competitive, and things like that, is never sure until the movie is done and done ...

Our song "All Yours" is in the film and will be the first track from the soundtrack will be released on June 8.

I do not have to tell you that the honor was being chosen by Howard to make this work. We are grateful for the opportunity and hope you all like the first film composition to the Metric.

Now back to reality ...
