PeaceLoveSeth, got to meet Boo Boo Stewart (aka Seth Clearwater) last weekend!!! PeaceLoveSeth has been a HUGE supporter of Boo Boo getting the role of Seth in Eclipse from the very beginning. Here’s PeaceLoveSeth fan encounter with Boo Boo!
Today I just met Booboo Stewart.
No biggie, right?
Just kidding, it was best day of my life and I don’t know where to start. All of this is because of TeamSpaceHeaters so a huge eternally grateful thank you to her! Big thanks to Bean also since you are awesome. Thank you Hollywood2Brooklyn and AlohaSD because everything you’ve done has been amazing. And thanks to everybody else!
After at first getting turned away from the Booboo photo op session I was finally able to get in later! Seeing him for the first time in person, even if from a distance was so surreal, it was like he was a hologram or some sort of cartoon. I was in the line in the photo op room, totally shaking with both nerves and excitement. When it got to be my turn he said “hi”, we got our picture taken together, and then it was time to move on.
My Nan and Grandad came with me for the morning to make sure I was sorted, (and to make sure TSH and Bean weren’t crazy people) were standing in the room just near Booboo’s dad. My Nan said to me, “did you tell him your name and what you’ve done for him?” to which I said, “No, it moved too quickly and I was nervous.” My Nan then told me to tell his dad, and at this point, his dad looked up at me.
I must have mumbled some coherent answer just basically saying, “Hi, I’m Caitlin. I helped Booboo a lot by supporting him on YouTube.” To which he said, “Oh that’s awesome, did you tell him that?” I said, “No, I was too scared.”Booboo’s dad said, “Oh, well you should’ve. Wait here.”
There were only about twenty girls left waiting for pictures and just as he wrapped up the photo op he was talking to one of the workers and Booboo’s dad called him over. Booboo came over and I said something along the lines of, “Hey, I’m Caitlin. I made all those videos on YouTube campaigning and supporting for you to get the role. You got told about me at the Twilight Convention in Boston.” He was all like, “Oh, yeah. That’s so awesome, thank you. Yeah, I remember being told to go for the role on YouTube.” I then pulled out the picture of all you EclipseMovie.org girls with Booboo from the Boston convention and showed it to him. He said, “Oh yeah, I remember that! Yeah, the superman shirt!”
I then, (wait for it) got a HUG!
I explained how all of you had tried everything to get me to meet him and that I just had to meet him. He thought that was really cool and I got ANOTHER hug! Booboo then shook hand with my Nan and Grandad, thanking them for bringing me. My grandad said, and I quote, “I am never washing this hand again.” Then Booboo said some other things during that conversation, but I can’t remember everything because I was so nervous. He thanked me again and said that he’ll see me later in autographs. We said goodbyes and I walked outside the room, he walked out shortly after and waved and smiled at me as he walked away. It was so awesome, that whole conversation was amazing! I’m so thankful to his dad for allowing that.
Just a note, Booboo sounds so much more American in person, he has a much stronger American accent when you talk to him in person and it’s so strange because he sounds normal to me in videos and even on stage in the talks he sounded normal.
After this amazing encounter I went to get Charlie Bewley’s autograph, he is an absolutely gorgeous man. After that TSH, Bean and I were standing in the corridor and Chaske Spencer walked right past us, we’re talking centimeters away! TSH missed him though, she looked up at us wondering what was going on and Bean only had to say “Chaske.” It was nice to see the cast just being able to walk around without people pouncing on them.
Then came time for Booboo’s autograph session, Bean and I were lined up and waited for our turn. Bean got her autograph first and then Booboo looked up at me and said, “Oh hey, it’s good to see you again! It’s Caitlin, right?”
I was happy he remembered me from the Photo Op. He then signed my poster and even put a personalized message on it saying, ‘To: Caitlin, Booboo, Thanks 4 all the help!’ I even got another hug! It was so amazing. We said our good-byes and at that moment my life was totally complete.
Later on we had the Q&A with Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones, and Gil Birmingham which was hilarious! This was followed by the Q&A with Charlie Bewley and Leah Gibson, which was pretty funny too.
Then finally we had the Booboo Stewart and Bronson Pelletier Q&A, which was absolutely hilarious and the best of the three! Booboo was the only cast member who stood up for the entire session, he was so great with the fans and even did a flip for us! A fan asked Bronson and him a question about cheesy pick up lines so Bronson put his hand on Booboo’s shoulder and said, “Are you a thief?” Booboo told him no which made Bronson respond by saying; “Because you stole my heart.”
Though I think Booboo topped him by grabbing Bronson’s shoulder and said, “Did you just fart?’ which caused everybody to burst out laughing making him continue by saying, “Because you blew me away.” Booboo and Bronson were absoulutly hilarious and make such a great pair.
This had been the best day ever, I still cannot believe what happened with Booboo and that I actually met him. I am eternally grateful to TSH for all of this and thankful for everyone on this website for being so awesome and kind. You made my dream come true!
