Rob Talks About How 'Breaking Dawn' Can't Be PG-13 In 'EW'

Robert Pattinson might play the world's sexiest vegetarian vampire in "Twilight," but in real life, he's… well… a realist.

All the heat and all the gore coming through "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" has him raising an (extremely sexy) eyebrow.

"I just can't see how it's going to be PG-13… unless they cut everything out," he tells Entertainment Weekly in their latest issue.

Like what, you ask?

Pattinson explains, "There's some interesting and weird stuff going on — really very, very, very strange. It's great. For a big, mainstream movie, it's the most obscure storyline and really outside the box. It's a horror movie."

(We're guessing he's referring to the hotly anticipated bed-shattering sex romp, or the already infamous scene in which he gnaws through Bella's umbilical cord — but we're only speculating.)

One way the powers-that-be might get around that pesky R-rating is by letting some of the "weird stuff" take place off-screen. Both screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and producer Wyck Godfrey have said that the gore and sex will be shown with Bella "looking through the haze," Moviefone recounts.

We're not sure if that counts as cutting everything out, but it certainly qualifies as some selective editing. We'll have to wait and see how it all goes down on the silver screen.

But it's hard to imagine it could be that horrific with RPattz in the frame.
