WAS this the weirdest red carpet ever?
Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner received a hero's welcome from adoring fans at the Jam Factory on Sunday night as he walked the ruby rug for new flick Abduction.
But rather than attending the film, he walked straight out again after doing his duty, leaving just members of the public at the "exclusive" premiere.
Despite being flagged as a VIP red carpet, Lautner was the only person that actually turned up.
Fortunately, he was a true gentleman and posed for snaps with his patient fans.
