Rob & Justin Have Never Talked About Dating Tips
Update for you on the Robert Pattinson-Justin Bieber squabble.
For those not aware, Justin was quoted last week talking about getting dating tips from Rob (using his hair in particular), but Pattinson didn't let that faux story slide over the weekend.
"I've never met this guy. I saw that as well," Rob told MTV. "I was like, 'You're really famous, man—what are you doing? You don't need to use me to make up stories!'"
Well, it turns out the story was indeed made up.
Justin never said he got dating tips from R.Pattz.
"This never actually happened," a rep for Justin tells E! News. "Justin never claimed to have met Robert."
We thought the whole thing sounded fishy. Press targets like Justin, Rob and especially his ladylove Kristen Stewart get false quotes attributed to them all the time in random media outlets.
Glad to hear the name-dropping story isn't true then! As Rob said, it's not like the Biebs needs any help from him in being famous.
The only connection between the two was when Justin said last year he thought Rob would be a fun guy to have as his wingman.
So, seems like Twi-hards and Beliebers can coexist after all. Relieved?

Chat-up lines are highly unnecessary for Robert Pattinson and Justin Bieber, but according to the pop sensation, they both once talked about impressing women.
Justin, who is currently dating Selena Gomez, reportedly said: "One day Robert Pattinson came up to me at a party and said, 'for whatever reason, people love our hair and it's always a great ice-breaker with girls."
The star added: "He is like, 'hey my name's Robert. Want to touch my hair?' I thought he was joking, but it really works."
Of course it works. He's Robert Pattinson and you're Justin Bieber. If either of you spoke those words to us, we'd end up falling into a giggling swoon before probably, definitely crying.

Efron, Bieber Join Pattinson, Hedlund In Golden Globes Presenters Line-Up
They say it’s all about the giving, not the receiving, and that’s certainly shaping up to be the case for this Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony with the announcement that heartthrobs Zac Efron and Justin Bieber will be joining a presenting line-up that already includes Twilight Saga treasure Robert Pattinson and TRON: Legacy's Garrett Hedland.Oh, and new Spidey Andrew Garfield's in there too. Will we even be able to hear the winners over the screaming?
