Robert Pattinson left the media pleasantly surprised as he showed off his newly learnt interview skills in the NY Talk Show which he attended to promote”his upcoming romantic drama “Remember Me”. He had the media in splits as he remarked that how sexy he finds Betty White on “The View”. He shared the intimate details about his lady parts allergy and how he managed to climb a tree when he shot for “Bothered “video along with Jimmy Fallon. His freshly learnt interview skills did not escape notice of the director of “Twilight:New Moon”Chris Weitz. He had an exclusive chat with The Dish Rag regarding Pattinson’s non vampire roles.
It can be recalled that Pattinson tasted success with the role of Edward Cullen in “Twilight” where he played the role of a vampire.Weitz felt that Pattinson belongs to that category of actors who is fit for any role and he is happy that he is trying out various roles. Pattinson is extremely passionate about his role in this movie and is believed to spent much time in having a deeper understanding of the character. His character is that of a rebel who comes from a broken family and ventilates all his frustration on his father.
Weitz argues that even though Pattinson was the perfect choice for the role of Edward Cullen in “Twilight”he should be showcasing his talent by exploring drastically different roles. Weitz is happy that Pattionson is smart enough not to get stuck only in vampire roles, even though he became hugely popular because of this particular role. He adds that Pattinson is not justEdward Cullen, he is much more than that. We couldn’t agree more!
