GossipCop has just broke the news that Eclipse has sweeped up 8 Peoples Choice Nominations:Eclipse and its stars earned aPeople’s Choice Awards-leading eight nominations when the nods were announced on Tuesday.
Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner each earned “favorite movie actor” nominations, while Kristen Stewart is a candidate for “favorite movie actress.”
The trio of stars are together nominated for “favorite on-screen team,” while Stewart and Pattinson are included in the “favorite movie stars under 25″ category.
Eclipse is up for “favorite movie” and “favorite drama.”
Fans can vote on the categories until December 7. The awards will be handed out on January 5, 2011 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
New Moon cleaned up at last year’s People’s Choice Awards.
Also up for awards is:
Best Horror movie: Nightmare on Elm Street (Which starred Kellan Lutz)
Best TV Drama: The Good Wife (Which starred Elizabeth Reaser)
Favourite TV Obsession: Dexter (Co-written by Melissa Rosenburg)
Favourite Rock Band: Linkin Park & Paramore (Both had tracks on the Twilight Soundtrack)
