Rumour: Robsten and Cast at the Oscars party?

Photobucket

Exclusive TTOBR scoop from someone "in the know." So, since Rob, Kristen, and Taylor did NOT attend the Oscars, where did they watch them? At an Oscar party Bill Condon threw Sunday night for the cast and crew in Vancouver. About 100 people showed up to watch the show at Condon's place. And in case you were wondering, the NEW MOON auto-tuned song was big in the room. You're welcome. ;o)

THE KING’S SPEECH Wins Best Picture + Full List of Oscar Winners

PhotobucketPhotobucket

In what easily had to be one of the most painful, unfunny Oscar ceremonies in recent memory, The King’s Speech finally reached the end of its inevitable march to Best Picture. It was the first Best Picture winner to win less than five Oscars (it won four, including Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay). Does that make it more or less unworthy of the Best Picture crown? I don’t know. I don’t care. I’m drained after live-blogging the awful show and 50 minutes of terrible pre-show.

Kellan Lutz At The 'Hollywood Domino Pre-Oscar Gala'

Photobucket

Hayden Panetierre and Kellan Lutz were among the major stars to come out to the Hollywood Domino Pre-Oscar Gala last night in Hollywood. Other stars like Michelle Trachtenberg, Paris Hilton, Stacy Keibler, Jenna Elfman, Nicky Hilton and Cuba Gooding Jr were in attendance, but the two young stars stole the show.

Panetierre, looking sultry in a chocolate-y brown gown, has been much-talked about lately (for better or worse) for her portrayal of convicted murderer Amanda Knox in a US TV movie. Critics say the film could distort public opinion, but the starlet thinks otherwise.

“Considering there have been documentaries and it’s been all over the news and books have been written on it, I’m a little surprised,” the 21-year-old said. “The film is very fact-driven. It’s nothing people haven’t heard.

However, Lutz has been hot lately for more positive reasons. The actor is being considered for a reboot of the Bourne franchise, The Bourne Legacy which would introduce a new character who’s been programmed just like Jason Bourne.

Way to stay in the spotlight, kids.

New Updates About The 'Twilight' Thing For The Fans At The Oscars

Update: Friday Feb 25th! From Ryan Seacrest 83rd Annual Academy Award producer Bruce Cohen, who’s an Oscar winner himself, phoned in Friday morning to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to give us the inside scoop on the upcoming award show, hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco, as well as revealed more on the surprise in store for the “Twilight” Twihard’s will “blow people’s minds” as well!

After releasing, via a Twitter video , that there will be a surprise for all the Twihards out there, Bruce furthered “Robert, Taylor, and Kristen will not be on the show but, the next best thing is going to happen and it will blow people minds.” Although Cohen wouldn’t reveal the surprise, he did let on what it is not, including it’s “not a live element at all…not technically CGI…and not the trailer for ‘Breaking Dawn.’”

Anna Kendrick not going, but there will be an Oscar surprise for 'Twilight' fans!

Photobucket

Last year there were three Twilight stars to grace the red carpet for the Academy Awards/Oscars. Kristen Stewart andTaylor Lautner were presenters, while Anna Kendrick was a nominee in the "Best Supporting Actress" category. The year before that, Robert Pattinson served as a presenter.

As for this year, Anna Kendrick recused herself from the list of those who'll be attending, saying "I couldn’t really handle it. It was enough last year being a nominee."

As you already know, both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have touched down in Vancouver, British Columbia to pick up filming for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, so that rules them out for Sunday's events.

No word yet on whether Taylor Lautner or any other Twilightstar will be there, but at least one producer from the Oscars has spoken to the issue of Twilight fans' interest in the show.

In the attached video, at the 2:00 mark, Bruce Cohen states, "Hey folks, if you are a Twilight fan . . . For all of you Twi-Hards out there, we have a little surprise for you in our show on Sunday night . . . if you like those three films, I have three words for you: watch the Oscars."

No doubt, many shall. The Academy Awards take place on Sunday, February 27th at 8:00 p.m. One of the co-hosts for the event is James Franco, who, you might recall, is an outspoken Twilight enthusiast. There's even a connection between his post as host and his former interest in portraying a Breaking Dawn character (see here). It should be interesting to see what they drum up for this! (Note that Bruce Cohen is the same guy who brought Franco on board for the job.)

Rob Are Going To The Oscars Without Kristen

Photobucket

Robert Pattinson will attend the 2011 Oscar awards without girlfriend Kristen Stewart. Rumors earlier this week claimed Rob and Kristen were set to hit Hollywood's biggest bash together. However, new reports state that Stewart's work schedule is too hectic, and she can not make an appearance.

Does this leave Robert Pattinson to walk the red carpet alone? Maybe not. The buzz is that Rob and his Water For Elephants co-star, Reese Witherspoon, will hit the Oscar Awards together.

It seems that Pattinson and Witherspoon are slated to present one of the coveted awards together, in a tactic to further promote their upcoming film. While it will be great to see Rob and Reese on stage together, no doubt looking amazing, fans will wish it was Kristen at Robert's side.

"Twilight" fans can only hope that one day Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will attend a major Hollywood event together. It seems that this hot young couple are always so busy trying to hide their relationship. Hopefully, one day they actually have time to enjoy it.

Robert Pattinson To Be Oscar Presenter?

Photobucket
Breaking Dawn cutie Robert Pattinson will be a presenter at the 2011 Academy Awards otherwise known as The Oscars. He was one of first 3 presenters named recently, while no names have been released about who is actually nominated as of yet. This is an exciting step for Robert, that shows indeed he has made a name for himself.
I have to say that he makes the Oscars worth watching for any die hard Twilight fan. I sort of hope he could be nominated, but I highly doubt that he is at this point. Very rarely are presenters ever actually nominated for an award at a show like this.
Are you excited to see him on Feb 27th, 2011? I am, and I am sure he will do a fabulous job of being a presenter. It is an honor even to be a presenter for anybody and hopefully one day he will actually win an award. What do think about this news and do you hope one day he will win an Oscar?
