Cupid struck its arrow and yet the reel-life inspired real-life lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have hardly been seen in each others’ company ever since the much-hyped release of Twilight Saga: The New Moon.While Angelina Jolie gifted a 200 year old Olive tree for a whopping £12,000, ($21,000) to longtime beau Brad Pitt and Leonardo Di Caprio reportedly went down on his knees to propose his longtime girlfriend Bar Refaeli on Valentine’s Day the latest Hollywood sensations of Twilight fame, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seems to have celebrated V-Day separately.
Given the latest reports by E!Online both Stewart and Pattinson will be gracing the 63rd annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards on Sunday and just before you get all your hopes of seeing this couple in each other’s arms high up let us inform you that Rob and Kristen will be sitting far apart from each other. According to the latest pictures released in the BAFTA Twitter account, the pretty 20 year old actress will be sitting behind the Bel Ami actresses while Rob is nowhere to be seen in the same vicinity.
Kristen who soared to fame as Bella Swan in Twilight and its sequel has been nominated for the Orange Rising Star award which honors new talent in the film industry. It is the only BAFTA to be voted for by the public. While the hunky Pattinson has not been nominated for any of the categories yet the BAFTA Twitter account confirmed that he would be appearing in the prestigious event as a presenter. Is it too much for the Twihards to hope that the sexy RPatz will be presenting the Orange Rising Star award to his on-and-offscreen love Kristen?
The BAFTA tweet also named Kate Winslet, Guy Pearce, Claire Danes and Dustin Hoffman, Uma Thurman, Clive Owen, Matt Dillon, Noel Clarke, Terry Gilliam, Rupert Everett, Jonathan Rhys Meyers as presenters.
The event will air in the US on BBC America on Sunday at 8p.m. ET and 7:30p.m. PT.
