The “Twilight” phenomenon caused quite a stir at the Riverton Wal Mart Superstore in Salt Lake City as fans congregated to snap up the first copies movie of the DVD at a launch party of “Twilight Saga: New Moon.”The lure of Robert Pattinson, Taylor lautner and Kristen Stewart remains potent as the party attracted a crowd of nearly 5,000 sometimes overenthusiastic fans to turn up.
According to reports, some of the Twilight faithful were a little too eager to acquire the “New Moon" DVD, but thankfully nothing of a serious nature happened.
The launch was part of a series of DVD parties at Wal Marts across the country to fete the DVD's Release.
