When I tried to prove to Kristen that it would be easy to shoot her underwater scene by going 10 feet underwater with wights on my wetsuit and panicked.

Directing is more fun because you get to stride around acting important, but everyone asks you questions all the time. Writing is more relaxing, but I get tired of my own company.

The Girlfriend Needs a Boost: Auctions Include an Autographed Poster of the Trio
Sometimes films are wildly lucky. For example, Charlie Bewley’s indie film “Like Crazy” won the top prize at Sundance and had three studios in a bidding war wanting to distribute it. There is even some OSCAR talk surrounding the film starting. Most films are not near as fortunate. Peter Facinelli even recently made a YouTube video to bring awareness to a friend’s project.
Director Justin Lerner explained to MTV’s Hollywood Crush what the situation with The Girlfriend is:
“As many people know, the costs of finishing a film, making prints, submitting to festivals, as well as publicity and marketing (the big one) are, as Kevin Smith pointed out at Sundance this year, sometimes more costly than an indie film’s entire budget. Therein lies the dilemma for a complex, artistic, intelligent film like ours,” they wrote.
“So far, there has been a strong outpouring of support, and donations have been varied—as large as $100 and as small as $5 or $10… every little bit helps and allows us the chance of getting the film out to a wider audience, and to ensure that those who have supported the film may have an opportunity to see it in a theater near them. We also hope to donate a portion of the final amount to the NDSS (National Down Syndrome Society).”

The production team has set up a Indie Gogo site to try to raise funds http://www.indiegogo.com/Girlfriend-2 for your contribution there are a variety of perks ranging from having your name listed to meals with the cast.
There’s also a new item, on EBAY. It’s an 100% authentic, 8 X 10 glossy New Moon photo autographed by Kristen Stewart. Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson. Also the signatures look pretty good because it wasn’t signed in a rush, great collector’s item!

'New Moon' Director Chris Weitz Sells New Movie To 'Twilight' Fans
Chris Weitz says that his new film A Better Life will appeal to fans of his Twilight Saga entry New Moon.His latest project is a low-key drama that follows a gardener in East L.A. who struggles to keep his son away from gangs and immigration agents while traveling across town to perform landscaping work for the city's wealthy landowners.
Thesubject matter doesn’t immediately suggest mass teen appeal, but Weitz is keen not to alienate this lucrative market or anyone who may have discovered his work through New Moon.
Weitz said: "Look, let's be honest: There's not a single vampire, not a werewolf or star-crossed romance in sight. Jose is quite a heartthrob but just doesn't have Jacob's abs. Demian plays an amazing Dad but doesn't have to deal with quite the same issues as Charlie Swan.

Twiligh Film Scene Recreated With LEGOs
The aspiring screenwriter began collecting LEGOs when he was five years old and now he boasts somewhere in the neighborhood of 30,000 pieces in his collection, which he now uses to recreate classic movie scenes.
"I make all my Lego projects at a table in the corner of [my] living room. I've got five of those big plastic drawer bureaus, filled with pieces divided by color, style, function. For smaller projects, the build can be finished in less than half an hour. It all depends on the amount of detail and the scale of the scene," he tells Paul Andrews of PacificCoastNews.com.
Eylar, who is studying for his Master's degree in screenwriting at Chapman University in Orange, Calif., says it's the photography that takes the longest because he needs to get the effects right - and that could lead to days of work. Although he says the James Bond scene only took him a few minutes.
And none of the LEGO pieces are custom made. "I'm too much of a purist," he says, preferring to utilize only original blocks.
But what happens to these miniature movie sets after he's finished photographing them?
"After each set is built and photographed I tear it down. I can't afford to keep them built - I need the pieces," he says.

Lykke Li Talks About Appearing on the ‘New Moon’ Soundtrack
Lykke Li’s haunting song “Possibility” appeared on the New Moon soundtrack. In this interview, she talks about getting the call to write a song for the film.
“I was sitting in a car in England [when I got the call],” she remembers, “eating a sandwich from Tesco, and I had no idea what Twilight was. Somebody explained it as this thing about vampires and I’m like, ‘I hate vampires.’ But when I thought about it, there are so few pop culture things today, where people are really crazy about something, like Beatlemania, so I thought, how cool to be part of something that so many young, open hearts listen to.” Though she might not have been the obvious choice, Li knows why they approached her. “‘Cos I represent lonely hearts, you know. Kind of emo I guess.” She lets out a rare giggle. “I’m definitely emo, yes.”
