From One Vampire To Another: Robert Sean Leonard Lends Advice To Robert Pattinson

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Robert Sean Leonard is probably best known in millennial circles for his work as Dr. James Wilson on House, but those of us whose pop culture knowledge runs a bit deeper will recall that he portrayed a vampire in the teen-friendly My Best Friend Is A Vampire. This film was part of Hollywood’s late Eighties vampire frenzy, a period in which actors like Jim Carrey (Once Bitten) and Chris Sarandon (Fright Night) also played these fiendishly handsome creatures of the night.

Well, as we all know, the vampire craze has experienced a resurgence over the last few years, thanks mainly to the work of one Robert Pattinson in the Twilight Saga. So when Robert Sean Leonard stopped by the set of VH1′s new morning show, Big Morning Buzz Live, we asked him if he, as an elder statesman of the Sexy Vampire set, had any advice for R Pattz. Well, he hilariously admitted to us that he “couldn’t tie Robert Pattinson’s shoes — and I mean that literally,” but what really made us laugh was him trying to work out the logistics of how a vampire could kill a werewolf (and vice versa). Watch the video above, you’ll see what we mean!

Photos New Vampires with Fans in Vancouver!

Vote For The Vampire You Want To Look Like On Hollywood Life

From source: HollywoodLife

Vampires may be bloodthirsty and terrifying, but they’re also totally gorgeous. (If you need proof of that, just look through our gallery of Kristen Stewart, Nina Dobrev and other fanged fatales.) So it’s only slightly surprising — but still totally nauseating — that “vampire facelifts” are becoming hot plastic surgery procedures. Basically, the patient is injected with his/her own blood in the hopes of stimulating collagen growth over time.

Which gorgeous vampire would YOU most want to look like? Here are your options:

Kristen Stewart as (future vampire) Bella Cullen in Twilight

Nina Dobrev as Katherine Pierce on The Vampire Diaries

Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen in Twilight

Candice Accola as Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries

Kristin Bauer as Pam De Beaufort on True Blood

Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale in Twilight

Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica Hamby on True Blood

Mia Kirshner as Isobel Fleming on The Vampire Diaries

Kirsten Dunst as Claudia in Interview With The Vampire

And just for funzies: Alexander Skarsgard as timeless beauty Eric Northman on True Blood

New Moon phase: Cut back those calories to 1200, "suffer" along with Bella. Eclipse Phase: get in 1 hour of activity a day to train with the Cullens. Breaking Dawn Phase: Drink 1 glass of pure unsweetened cranberry juice a day, like the blood Bella has to drink. Whoever loses the highest percentage wins. Pattinson lives like a vampire

Robert Pattinson’s real life is not much different from that of the vampire he plays in the hit Twilight series, for the actor rarely steps out in daylight in fear of being mobbed by over enthusiastic fans.

The 23-year-old star, who portrays Edward Cullen in the film adaptation of the novel by the same name, revealed he dodged trailing paparazzi and screaming followers and managed to be one his own while driving through LA.

"I'd been working all year pretty much without a break, then I'd gone back to LA and I'd been followed around all the time,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

"I finally escaped from people and I drove past this guitar shop and I was just like ''I need to remind myself why I'm doing this''," he added.

The Brit further said the reception is different everywhere he goes, saying: "Every time I come back to London I'm always thinking it's going to be the same as America but it never is. People don't look for the same stuff.”

5 Reasons Remember Me's Tyler Hawkins Might Be As Lovable as Twilight's Edward Cullen

From the first time my eyes saw the words "Edward Cullen" in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight book, it was love at first read. Every line out of his mouth made my heart melt just a little bit more. (It went as far as me forcing my mom to read the books so she could get to know her "future son-in-law" -- seriously!)

And when Rob Pattinson was cast to play him in the The Twilight Saga films, my obsession for Team Edward spiked to a whole new level. His brooding looks, those little smiles cracking from the corners of his lips, and the beyond romantic ways he did anything and everything.

So when I first saw the trailers for Rob's new film, Remember Me (opening March 12), I was fully aware this was no Edward Cullen. And in all honesty, nothing about the preview made me want to see the film. Sure, I'm a sucker for a coming-of-age tale packed with romance, but he just seemed so unrelatable.

And then I found out the ending. I won't spoil it for you guys, but accidentally finding out how it concluded made me need to see the film... right away. And luckily enough, last Monday after covering the red carpet premiere of the film and chatting with all the cast and crew about it, I was able to see it right away. And W-O-W.

Let's just say, this is one affective film that will stick with you for the rest of your life. But a big part of it is the way that Rob plays the very-human character of Tyler Hawkins.

So I'm officially launching Team Tyler right now... starting with my Top 5 reasons you might just fall in love with Tyler as much as Edward (I won't go as far as saying more than Tyler...yet...)

1- The lamely adorable way he picks up girls -- just wait until you see him work the charm with Ally (Emilie de Ravin).

2- The too-cute way he says, "Abso-freakin'-lutely!" to his little sister Caroline (Ruby Jerins) when she asks if he'll go to her art show.

3- His heart-wrenching relationship with his deceased older brother... so close that the moment he falls in love, he rushes off to write to him about her at their favorite diner.

4- His determination -- he does everything he can to win Ally a gigantic bear at the carnival... and ends up paying for it!

5- The big brother heart that has him carrying a pink sleeping bag, defending her against mean girls, and reading stories about Greek gods to her in bed to make her feel better. Awww!
