Guess we are all aware of the ever –skyrocketing stocks of popular ‘Twilight’ pair Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, following the phenomenal global success of their twin ‘Vampire’ franchises ‘Twilight’ and ‘New Moon’. And as per the latest reports, it would appear that Forbes has now given the official seal to the heady status of the mushy Twilighters in the dizzy circles of celluloid.
On the evidence of the latest reports, it is learned that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has reportedly been picked by Forbes, in its list of top earning couples on celluloid.
It is further learned that the ‘Twilight’ mush pair, who will hit the big –screens later this year with the upcoming ‘Vampire’ venture ‘The Twilight Series: Breaking Dawn’, has reportedly featured in the Forbes list of Top Grossing on screen couples, with an estimated combined harvest of $ 1.1 billion.
Forbes was quoted as reporting in its flagship publication, “Romance movies always seem to work best when there is a huge obstacle keeping the couple apart. Few obstacles are bigger than the one separating Bella and Edward in the Twilight films: Namely that he’s a vampire. The first two movies of the series have grossed $1.1 billion at the box office. The third installment, Eclipse, hits theaters at the end of June.”
